Vector images, alternatively, allow for more flexibility. Your company logo and brand graphics should be created as a vector and saved as a master file so you can use it with smaller items such as your business card and letterhead, but also on large surfaces, such as your corporate jet. When necessary, always create a JPG or PNG for use on the web from this master vector file. Just be sure to save the new raster file in the exact dimensions needed.
A PDF is generally a vector file.However, depending how a PDF is originally created, it can be either a vector or a raster file.
Click on add vector layer, new pop up will shown on screen, here user can upload files.
User can upload vector files of his format Shapefile (with shp, shx, dbf, prj etc), KML, KMZ, GeoJSON, Topojson, GML, GPX, GPS, GPKG, MAPINFO, SQLITE, DXF, MID, MIF, CSV, XLSX, to publish on map.
Now IGIS Map Tool provides three options here on Upload New Datasets popup page to upload data in the map.
Via Upload Dataset:
To upload data from the local storage click on the Upload Dataset option.
This will open your file explorer for data file selection, Now select the data files you want to upload and click open to upload.
Via Google Drive and Dropbox:
Now select the data files from google drive and your files will get uploaded in the IGIS Map Tool.
To upload data from the DropBox storage please click on the DropBox option.
This will open a popup for you to login with your Dropbox account details where you have stored your data file for data file selection, Now after login select the data files you want to upload and click open.
After choose any of three option, upload your file and then click on upload file.
After clicked on upload file, data will published successfully on map as shown on below screen.
